| Internship Program The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack.  Actively attend regular meetings to gain oversight and insight, sharing experiences, asking questions, and applying classroom knowledge to real-world practice situations.Contribute to the design and implementation of tools, processes, and resources that align with the Behavioral Health Strategy.Assist in executing the team's Workforce Strategy by building relationships and developing educational and promotional content to enhance outreach and engagement.
  
   Assignments may include developing a professional development program, identifying workforce training needs, building collaborative projects with community stakeholders, and creating educational and promotional content, etc.Complete a final project that highlights contributions and learning throughout the internship, showcasing work in health care workforce initiatives and behavioral health programming Education and Experience: 
 High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredCurrent college / university student in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is requiredSocial services experience in a community behavioral health center or healthcare setting preferred Competencies, Knowledge and Skills: 
 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and within a team environmentEffective listening and critical thinking skillsDependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential informationEffective problem-solving skills with attention to detail Licensure and Certification: Working Conditions:

In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
