66996 Advertisement text to be placed on Owens Corning website for 15 days JOB: OC Non-Wovens Technology LLC, seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist in Aiken, SC to be responsible for Safety, Quality & Productivity improvement by focusing on-Line utilization, process capability and product quality and performing root cause analysis of losses. Identify projects and implementing actions. Create standards for training and sustenance of improvements. Lead customer quality complaints investigations using industry standard tools to deep dive root cause and provide sustainable solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations. Identify, understand, and teach others the Critical Product Characteristics required to provide our customers with a quality product. Coach, counsel, and train all employees on process control. Conduct process audits to review Critical Product Characteristics. Develop and implement Operator Control & Reaction Plans to ensure that all products meet specifications at the lowest cost. Partner with Maintenance to develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance plans for equipment to ensure employee understanding and ownership. Partner with Product Technical Leaders to develop Product Specifications that are achievable and capable in the manufacturing environment. Lead trials for new and existing products to ensure they meet customer's fitness for use. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing a deep dive in chronic process issues and eliminating them from recurring utilizing Root Cause Analysis tools including Causelink; conducting identification of hazards and risk mitigation to improve employee safety through hazard recognition and control specialization; possessing sound knowledge of using Minitab & SAP for data analysis and deriving precise conclusions; conducting project management utilizing tools such as MS Project for completing projects on time and utilizing effective resource utilization; and changing the workplace culture and focus towards continuous improvement and standardization through exposure to TPM methodology.
