POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cycle Counter to support the accuracy and integrity of inventory at our Woodland manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in optimizing inventory processes. The successful candidate will conduct routine cycle counts, analyze discrepancies, and collaborate with the Materials Manager, and Inventory Control Administrator to support accurate inventory management and component availability. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Cycle Counting & Inventory Accuracy 
 Conduct scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts in accordance with company policy.Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system data; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.Assist in the execution of full physical inventories, including year-end audits.Maintain accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within the ERP system (SAP). 
 Enter and verify inventory transactions in SAP; maintain up-to-date and precise system records. Reporting & Communication 
 Proactively alert the Planning Team when inventory levels for critical components are low or at risk.Document inventory findings and maintain logs for compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration 
 Act as a liaison between Materials, Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to maintain operational alignment.Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and provide input to prevent recurring inventory issues.Support Procurement and Planning with accurate inventory data to minimize shortages and avoid overstock. Process Improvement 
 Contribute to the development and refinement of inventory control procedures aligned with lean manufacturing and best practices.Recommend process enhancements to improve inventory turnover, minimize waste, and support production efficiency, including E&D disposal processes. EDUCATION 
 High school diploma or equivalent required.Associate's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 
 2+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (experience with SAP and/or QAD highly preferred).Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling large volumes of inventory data.Effective written and verbal communication skills; capable of working across departments.Strong time management and prioritization skills.Ability to identify trends, analyze root causes, and recommend sustainable solutions. MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS: Technical Skills

 The Cycle Counter will report directly to the site's (Woodland, CA) Materials Manager and will work closely with the site Inventory Admin. Compensation: The expected hourly range for this position is $22.35 - $25.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 
 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Frequent standing, walking, bending, or kneeling during inventory activities. WORK ENVIRONMENT 
 Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with variable temperatures and noise levels.Occasional exposure to forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
