Responsibilities Collaborates with various Microsoft teams including; Tax, Accounting, Finance and other business teams to understand requirements for finance functions. Helps with accounting and finance process mapping and understanding and assists in requirements gathering for various functions/processes. Primarily supports the Compliance workstream which requires deep engagement and alignment with Internal and External Audit, Corporate Financial Controls Group and individual control owners. Ensuring that control considerations are documented, reviewed and an approved plan is in place to ensure continued compliance throughout the project. Compare existing processes and systems to validate and identify future solutions, assessing the impact of strategic initiatives on finance systems. Be a champion in the application/recommendation of AI entablements within current processes as well as with program management Communicate the connection between processes, strategy, metrics, and projects across business, technical groups, and functional leaders. Maximizes user value of data solutions through evangelization, change management, and user education efforts like readiness materials, training sessions, and hands-on support.
