We're hiring a Senior Pricing Data Analyst to support both enterprise-level pricing strategy and the Sonepar National Account (SNA) team. This dual-role position blends advanced analytics with hands-on system management, offering a unique opportunity to influence pricing decisions and drive operational excellence. You'll work with tools like Power BI, Snowflake, and Eclipse to deliver insights, optimize pricing systems, and collaborate across teams.

** This job will sit in Charleston, South Carolina or Philidelphia, Pennsylvania working in a hybrid work environment - M&F - Work from home and T,W,TH - in office **

What You'll Do



  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to support strategic pricing decisions and ad-hoc business needs.
  • Work with SQL, Snowflake, and advanced Excel to analyze complex datasets.
  • Collaborate across teams to define new data attributes and improve database structures.
  • Frame data insights in a business context and ask the right questions to guide decision-making.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including, Pricing, Rebates, Product, Purchasing, Finance and others.
  • Contribute to a diverse, collaborative, and technically driven team culture.
  • Serve as the primary pricing liaison for the SNA team, managing and optimizing the Eclipse pricing and rebate system to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives and providing support.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Pricing to analyze pricing trends, evaluate performance, and recommend data-driven strategies.
  • Project Ownership. Lead or support special projects related to pricing analytics, system enhancements, or partner-specific initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.


Qualifications:

Experience:
5+ years in pricing analytics, financial analysis, or a related role - ideally in a B2B or distribution environment.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

What We're Looking For



  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development as well as strong Excel and SQL skills for data manipulation and querying
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis and develop pricing models
  • Strong communication skills to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across sales, finance, and operations


Other Things We Like:



  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Eclipse is a strong plus
  • Project management skills to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in engineering or technical disciplines
