THE PERSON:

Join our team to enhance AMD's quality and market timelines. Use your Validation skills to optimize IP and channel signal integrity, develop volume test strategies, and debug design issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the HSIO validation team across design simulation, silicon power-on, platform enablement, volume validation, manufacturing and customer sampling phases.
  • Lead validation methodologies to guarantee quality during high volume manufacturing
  • Collaborate directly with internal and external customers and partners for debug and co-validation efforts
  • Lead a high-performance engineering team dedicated to prototyping and delivering infrastructure innovation at scale.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience as an HSIO Validation or hardware engineering, including leadership roles.
  • Experience in creating validation solutions for link controllers, protocols, bus performance, and data traffic integrity.
  • Experience in developing test methodologies for GPU-to-GPU interconnects
  • Proven experience building and leading technical teams in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive validation solutions for signal integrity, including SerDes PHYs, training protocols, and channel/connectors.
