U.S. Retail Sales Incentives Finance Specialist

This position is responsible for:

Providing financial guidance and analysis as part of a cross-functional team consisting of members from Sales Operations, Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain Management responsible for developing national and regional incentive programs for the US Retail Market. Delivering incentive cost estimates, in-market net margins, month-to-month incentive variance explanations, Business Center incentive reports, and financial support for Executive Governance agendas. Performing various special studies as required. Maintaining and updating the incentives cost structure through monitoring and evaluating seasonal trends, program performance, and new incentive actions. Evaluating margin impact of incentive proposals and resulting net margin position. Performing analysis of estimated share and contribution impact associated with incentive proposals. Participating in or leading meetings with VP/Director and Senior Management personnel from multiple organizations.

This role offers a strong foundation to be eligible to move to the following positions within the Sales and Marketing Finance Organization:

Program Cost Specialist, Controlling Specialist, Dealer Payments Analyst.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of finance experience
  • Knowledge of automotive industry and key practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong ability to manage large data sets
  • Strong analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Substantial exposure/experience in Sales & Marketing, Sales & Marketing Finance, Pricing, or Competitive Analysis


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Oracle SMART VIEW and PowerBI
  • Ability to work well with broad-based and diverse cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to change, including prioritization of assignments
  • Results-oriented: possessing the abilities to plan, develop, implement and measure results
