About this Position
ChristianaCare is searching for a Project Coordinator to serve as a collaborative partner with members of the External Affairs team to ensure marketing projects and special events are completed on time and on budget in order to advance the mission of Christiana Care Health System. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing Coordination (75%)
- Acts as an internal client liaison and account manager for various essential services and system programs.
- Assists Senior Account Managers with projects and tasks upon request, as approved by supervisor.
- Performs social media execution as needed, guided by Senior Account Managers, and in conjunction with Web & Creative team.
- Acts as a resource for marketing writing and proofreading, as needed.
- Acts as liaison for various internal stakeholders within the Health System for marketing projects.
- Performs additional administrative support for marketing projects as needed
- Completes projects independently, drawing on resources as needed.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs, handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion.
- Researches and completes special projects/assignments as required.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Exercises sound judgment in a variety of situations.
Special Events Coordination (25%)
- Oversees the planning and execution of annual and high-profile internal and external events, meetings or conferences.
- Drives the company's mission by always representing our vision through every event.
- Gains a complete understanding of the requirements for each event.
- Owns every aspect of an event, from venue choice, speakers, catering audio visual needs, registration, promotion to success metrics.
- Keep financial and timelines under control at all times.
- Research vendors and make selections based on creativity, quality, and cost, which includes contracting and confirmation and day-of logistics.
- Arrange fellow caregivers to serves as needed across all functions of each event as needed.
- Works cooperatively with committees as needed.
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, required.
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience in marketing or agency environment, required. Client management experience, preferred.
- Marketing writing, including advertising, collateral, and social media, preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Annual Compensation Range $56,804.80 - $85,196.80
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
