We are looking for an extraordinary Business Development Manager to join 1000 Mile Travel Group.

1000 Mile Travel Group is the Independent Contractor brand for CTM and a leading host agency within the North American and Global Marketplace.

This role will play a critical part in driving 1000 MTG's growth by overseeing sales across new independent contractor acquisitions, SME agencies, SME corporate businesses, and 1000Access products, all supported by the 1000 MTG/CTM technology suite. This will be a national position providing the ability to run in the beginning without the exclusion of territories. This means the USA really is your oyster. Your responsibilities will span all sales aspects from creating and managing a healthy sales pipeline, to winning and closing this business, supporting implementation and maintaining relationships with those clients. Additionally, you will provide vital sales support to new and existing independent contractors in our network to help grow their portfolios through your own pipeline and theirs helping them convert their leads.

Your ultimate mission will be to drive growth and retention, nurturing success for both clients and our network of independent contractors.

At 1000 Mile Travel Group, we recognize that while our independent contractors are highly motivated and accomplished travel consultants, not all possess the skills, knowledge, or passion for sales, even though they aspire to grow their businesses. Your role will be instrumental in realizing 1000 MTG's vision, brand, and value proposition, translating these into sales success on behalf of all our stakeholders. No two days will be the same, as effective process and time management will be essential in balancing independent contractor acquisition with securing new corporate business accounts.

Who will you be working for:

1000 Mile Travel Group is a premier host agency network in the travel industry, holding National Account status with Virtuoso and a strong presence in the luxury travel sector. With our recent corporate launch in North America - building on our success in other regions - the world is truly your oyster, and the sky is the limit.

1000 MTG has two types of clients the traditional client who we service and book for corporate travel and leisure travel, as well as the independent contractor (IC's) who book travel for their clients. We view our relationship with ICs as a true partnership, and this role is essential in supporting their success from the very first conversation.

1000 MTG specializes in converting travel careers into businesses and helping those businesses grow. As a forward-thinking company, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering growth within our network.

1000 Mile Travel Group was founded by two long standing travel industry professionals from a bold idea: That experienced travel advisors deserve the freedom to build their own businesses on their own terms, with lifestyle and flexibility at the forefront. At 1000 MTG, our mission is to empower travel advisors and business owners to work to live - not live to work - while providing the technology, support, and community that fuel their success.

Company's Purpose & Vision:

Guided by our company vision, at 1000 MTG we believe that through One Team, One Mission, and One Successful Customer at a time, we can achieve extraordinary results together.
