Location: Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Type: Exempt

Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift

Compensation: $82,000 annually

Tessera is seeking a skilled and professional Quality Control Manager with a commitment to safety.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • QCM shall have full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards identified in the contract are met. Reports directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP). Procedural and policy changes are communicated through and approved by the Site Manager. The QCM or their alternate shall be on-site during the Government's regular working hours and shall be available on-site within one hour after the Government's request after regular hours.

  • Manage all aspects of the contractually defined QC program, including QC Plan development and approval, key processes, internal and client-facing reporting, and ISO 9001 integration. Tessera's QCR program incorporates key reliability components implied in the contract (reliability is quality over time). This scope includes both FFP maintenance work orders and reimbursable (IQ) funded repair and minor construction projects.

  • Prepare and execute QCR inspection schedules and follow-up actions for both randomized work orders and daily IQ reports IAW contract requirements. Leverage iPads, Maximo, PowerBI to streamline this process. Inspections look at both workorder results and asset condition over time (reliability) as appropriate.

  • Works with the Ft. Bragg Site Manager to integrate relevant safety & quality observations into routine quality control inspections.

  • Works with managers to formulate and implement policies and procedures to facilitate, clarify, and correct processes.

  • Analyze results and recommend measured performance results, objectives, and efficiency of the systems to management.

  • Travel as required to outlying sites and Tessera home office in Bremerton, WA.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Quality Management is required

  • Associate's degree preferred

  • A combination of experience and education is allowed.

  • Must pass the Army Corps of Engineers for Quality Construction Management classes within 90 days of hire date.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
