Positional Summary As a member of the Student Involvement and Leadership team, serve as the Associate Director providing vision, oversight, and direction for student activities and organizations. Responsible for building on and implementing a vision of involvement and ensure all students have a valuable and significant involvement experience at Duke. Provide vision and direction for building student capacity in positional organization roles and student-led training/development initiatives. Provide guidance and vision to student organization advisors about their role and ways to support student development in organization roles. Develop student organization policy to mitigate risk and collaborate to update as necessary. Oversee student organization support and direct student organization advisor training and communication. Direct the external efforts associated with large-scale university programming collaborations. Supervise Assistant Director(s) and Graduate Assistant(s) who will assist with advising and supporting students and student organizations on programming, internal operations, risk management, and event planning. Serve as a member of the Student Involvement and Leadership team to advance co-curricular initiatives focused on belonging, engagement, and well-being. Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $59,829.00 to USD $88,740.00.
