SUMMARY



The Salesforce Technical Project Manager is responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects within Alliant's Center of Excellence (COE). This role combines strong project management skills with Salesforce platform knowledge to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. This individual is expected to understand the platform deeply enough to identify risks, assess blockers, and evaluate estimates to complete.


*Travel is required for this role up to 20% frequency. Hybrid work schedule in Alliant Offices - Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL; Naples, FL; or Atlanta, GA.*


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Lead Salesforce projects end-to-end, from initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and closure.



Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Architects, Developers, and Admins within the COE to monitor progress and validate solution alignment.



Facilitate and lead daily standups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to keep teams aligned and accountable.



Track and report on project milestones, risks, and dependencies; proactively remove blockers.



Assess estimates to complete and ensure accurate forecasting of timelines and resources.



Manage third-party vendors/partners and coordinate across business and technical teams.



Create and maintain project documentation, roadmaps, and progress reports.



Facilitate quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release readiness activities.



Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.



Ensure adherence to COE standards, governance, and Salesforce best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.



Five (5) or more years project management experience, including Salesforce projects.



Experience with Agile delivery and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, etc.).



Certified Scrum Manager



Salesforce Administration Certification



Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI or PMI-ACP


SKILLS



Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem



Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences



Ability to manage projects on time, within budget, and according to defined scope



Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills



Ability to facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
