Location Pensacola, FL - Pensacola, FL 32501 US (Primary) Category Information Technology Job Description Our team, in Pensacola, FL has an immediate need for a Solar Winds Technician with demonstrated experience performing maintenance and monitoring for an enterprise-scale network environment. Primary responsibilities Include: * Initialize, configure, and maintain database servers, to include monitoring server health and performance and ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security * Design, deploy, and manage SolarWinds environments, including NPM, NTA, SAM, and other modules * Analyze, solve, and resolve emergent issues with SQL databases * Configure and maintain monitoring templates, alerts, and reporting mechanisms * Develop and optimize dashboards to provide real-time visibility into network and application health * Review and update STIG requirements and checklists and remediate/document findings as needed Job Requirements * Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire * Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and system architectures * Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) * Some SolarWinds administration, including hands-on expertise with various modules preferred This is NOT a REMOTE/HYBRID/WFH Position. Must be in office daily.
