SUMMARY



Manages and oversees all aspects of an insurance review for a loan transaction. Ensures operational projects and opportunities are being integrated, reviewed, monitored and maintained.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Lead the Property & Casualty insurance due diligence process, from the initial engagement through the loan/transaction close


Assist with writing of due diligence report and delivery to client


Develop, manage and improve client and insurance market analytics and benchmarking tools.


Identifies areas in need of process improvement and develops the methods and/or tools to improve deliverables.


Develops and implements consistent organization wide policies, work flows and procedures


Advocates the enhanced use of technology and training where appropriate;


Monitors and is engaged in quality control efforts on all projects;


Seeks opportunities to implement process improvements and develops solutions to transaction issues


Evaluate and manage existing and new technology platforms and applications to improve servicing, review process, data capture, and analytics for the benefit of clients


Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience



5 years experience in Insurance due diligence, underwriting, broking or related field



Valid insurance license



SKILLS



Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Good problem solving and listening skills



Good problem solving and time management skills including the ability to work independently



Ability to work within team and to foster teamwork



Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects, deadlines and owners



Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
