Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant will be certified to manage the patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their patients throughout all phases of a woman's life. This role will also require the ability to become certified as a Phlebotomist. OGI will cover the costs associated with certification with a one (1) year commitment to role after obtaining the certification. This is a full-time position working M-F from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm out of our Edina clinic. ogi | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit.
- Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's chart. (all indicated)
- Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
- Performs in-house testing including UA, Hemoglobin, 1-hour glucose, and, 3-hour glucose.
- Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms as needed.
- Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or nurse practitioner.
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Successful completion of the state of MN administered Nursing Assistant certification exam OR active registry as a Nursing Assistant in the state of MN
- Phlebotomy certified or willing to obtain phlebotomy certification after hire

- Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
- A $750.00 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

- Work in the clinic during business hours.
- Travel independently throughout the clinic including frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations

- Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to other work locations, if required
