Description

The Associate Product Manager supports product strategy and development by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and product performance, while executing key tasks to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction. This role works closely with product managers and the cross-functional team to provide insights that guide innovation, pricing, and lifecycle management, helping the company deliver high-quality, competitive products in the commercial playground industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Research market trends, customer insights, and competitor product offerings to identify opportunities and threats
  • Analyze product sales, margins, and lifecycle data to support decision-making
  • Partner with product managers to develop business cases, product roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies
  • Support pricing strategies by evaluating costs, competitor benchmarks, and perceived customer value
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure accurate product specifications, documentation, and marketing collateral
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate data-driven insights to leadership and stakeholders
  • Execute tasks accurately and efficiently to support on-time product launches and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and regulatory standards



QUALIFICATIONS

What qualifications are they required to have?



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, data analytics, or related field
  • Strong competency with Microsoft 365, specifically analytical skills and proficiency with Excel or BI tools



Travel

Outside of travel between Chattanooga, TN and Fort Payne, AL, travel is approximately 5%.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability

Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft 365.

If an individual has a working knowledge of project management software platforms (e.g., Asana) and AutoCAD, that is a plus.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience or interest in playground, recreation, or related industries is a plus
