Position Title: QUALITY ENGINEER Position Summary: Position is responsible for coaching and supporting the CFT's. In addition, the Quality Engineer provides support to our manufacturing and quality teams. Responsible for helping to create a quality plan and ensure we meet customer quality requirements. The objective is to improve quality, delivery and safety. Reports to: Director of Customer Focused Teams Accountabilities: Accountable for understanding and following all SOPs and WIs related to job duties while supporting 6S and continual improvement concepts. Provide support to the manufacturing shop personnel and CFT for quality assurance and inspection needs. Accountable for understanding quality operations and functions. Authorities: As designated or delegated by the Director of Customer Focused Teams Duties:
Job Qualification Requirements: Educational Experience - High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred. Experience - Excellent GD&T skills with good understanding of quality inspection processes and techniques. Capable of monitoring and controlling process using SPC methods.
