PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $152,300.00-$186,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $118,200.00 - $220,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As a Tech Business Operations (TBO) Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how BECU's Technology division delivers strategic impact. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to drive clarity, alignment, and execution across key initiatives that directly enhance our member and digital experiences. From synthesizing business cases to managing executive communications, your work will influence how we operate, innovate, and grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Drive Strategic Alignment: Partner with divisional VPs and SVPs to execute organizational strategies, manage business routines, and align technology initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Lead Operational Rhythms: Own the cadence of business operations-facilitating business reviews, internal communications, and engagement activities that keep teams informed and connected.
  • Deliver Executive Insights: Provide strategic recommendations and business insights that influence decisions on programs, staffing, governance, and budget planning.
  • Craft Executive Communications: Develop compelling narratives and visual presentations that simplify complex ideas and support executive messaging.
  • Manage High-Impact Projects: Lead and oversee special projects and programs, applying sound judgment and change management best practices to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Represent Leadership: Act as a trusted delegate for divisional leaders in meetings and cross-functional engagements, ensuring priorities are communicated and followed through.
  • Streamline Processes: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business management functions.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across the organization to align on priorities, support strategic initiatives, and drive business outcomes.
  • Understand the Business End-to-End: Use your knowledge of the full business landscape to provide direction and recommendations that support long-term success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or related field, or equivalent work/educational experience
  • 10+ years of experience in executive office functions, chief of staff roles, business operations, or program/project management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint), especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in executive storytelling and communications, including presentation software and data analysis tools
  • Proven ability to work in complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments with strong critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
  • Strong technical proficiency and strategic thinking mindset

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience aligning talent strategies with member-centric and digital-first initiatives to enhance candidate engagement and organizational impact.
  • Experience in strategic program development
  • Familiarity with vendor landscape optimization and financial modeling
  • Strong communication and employee engagement strategy experience
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
