Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is the world's leading manufacturer and remanufacturer of large crankshafts. We expect opportunities to continue to grow as we are uniquely positioned with customer conglomerates' in transportation, consumer goods, oil and gas markets.

We are currently seeking a full-time Inventory and Receiving Manager position at Ellwood Crankshaft Group in Hermitage and Sharon, PA factories. This non-exempt position will require flexibility in performing a variety of receiving goods, warehousing, inventory control duties to assist and support the operational processes. The candidate will recruit and build a team of receiving coordinators to work to insure all incoming and outgoing consumables are accounted for properly. The candidate must also have reliable transportation to be able to work between our Sharon and Hermitage facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • College graduate in business or engineering
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Familiar with general computer applications, including email
  • Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to work well with a team while also working independently
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Valid driver's license


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Proficient at operating fork lifts, overhead cranes and other heavy equipment
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP Inventory Systems


RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:



  • Safe operation of fork lifts, overhead cranes, power pushers and other heavy equipment
  • Performing cycle counts on inventory
  • Performing basic inventory transactions in Syteline to include receiving parts against purchase orders, issueing parts to work orders and updating part locations
  • Tagging and properly identifying parts in the warehouse
  • Confirming items are tagged with an inventory number and confirming that the inventory numbers accurately represent those products (description, mfg., etc.)
  • Assisting maintenance, production and purchasing in identifying parts
  • Assisting other ECG staff in finding and, at times, delivering parts to other facilities
  • All other job duties as assigned
  • Handling of UPS small parcel (outbound) transactions
