Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Digital Enterprise Capabilities (DEC) team is seeking an experienced professional to be the strategic partner to our Commercial organization and manage the portfolio of Commercial data and technology projects in support of our Customer Experience evolution, product launches, and brand growth opportunities. The role will work closely with the Commercial Business Operations and Analytics and Market Access organizations to deliver key capabilities for our field teams and customers that will drive and enhance engagement. In addition to delivering these key capabilities, this role will need to serve as a trusted advisor to the Commercial Leadership Team to manage the risks, dependencies, mitigations, and the change management for a diverse set of data and technology initiatives. This role will also be required to help develop, embed, and enhance the Product Operating Model partnering with Business Operations and Analytics, Market Access Ops and DEC organization to serve our stakeholders effectively. This person will have overall accountability for customer experience solutions across our Commercial Organization.

The ideal leader will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and will leverage their skills to influence at every level imparting technical knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way.

Essential Job Functions:

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Become a trusted advisor and business partner for the Commercial Leadership team with a mutual accountability for achieving the Commercial goals.

  • While leading a team, develop key talent and provide clear roles and responsibilities with a shared vision that will drive accountability and a pursuit of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with Commercial leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, design, and deliver key platforms and capabilities (e.g., CRM, Marketing Capabilities, dashboards, etc.) that enable better customer engagement

  • Work closely with the Commercial functions to formulate and prioritize ideas, influence key decisions, allocate resources/budget for initiatives, and manage expectations with key stakeholders.

  • Create and manage the Commercial data and technology strategy and roadmap across BUs; identifying key risks and dependencies.

  • Develop and enhance the Product Operating Model to be implemented across the DEC team and Commercial support functions to accelerate the time to value and minimize duplication of effort.

  • Establish guiding principles, best practices, and governance processes in support of our internal operating model and an elastic outsourcing model.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in an IT or related discipline, with a minimum of 7 years of increasing responsibilities in the IT function.

  • Demonstrated ability to create a shared vision, inspire collaboration across sales, marketing, and other Commercial functions to drive change with impact

  • Experience with Agile development methodology required

  • Proven ability to lead within a Product Operating Model inclusive of user feedback assessment, value and viability definition, and product roadmap creation.

  • Domain knowledge in the pharmaceutical commercial or healthcare area is desired.

  • Experienced in navigating ambiguity and change with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large, complex projects

  • Demonstrated leadership success in management, including building and/or leading a team or department

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Set clear priorities to meet timelines, to motivate others, and to manage budgets

  • Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and strategic abilities

  • Some travel required (20%)

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $177,600.00 - $266,400.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
