About the Opportunity

The Facilities Lead will support the Facilities Manager in the oversight of all facilities services, maintenance, and repairs for a portfolio of buildings within a specific territory. This role will assist with managing relationships with third-party vendors and building property management teams, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day facilities operations.

Core Duties

  • Vendor and Operations Support: Help coordinate and monitor the daily activities of third-party vendors to ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed on time and to the agreed-upon standard.

  • Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for the Community Management team for day-to-day facilities issues, escalating larger emergencies to the Facilities Manager as needed.

  • Budgeting and Audits: Assist with monitoring facilities budgets and spending. Help coordinate and participate in in-building audits with external vendors.

  • Compliance and Safety: Support the Facilities Manager in ensuring all buildings meet fire, life safety, and local code compliance.

  • Project and Program Support: Assist with the implementation and execution of small-scale capital projects and help gather information for long-term programs and upgrades.

  • Daily Operations: Review and manage daily ticket reports in Salesforce and Corrigo, and assist with vendor keycard access.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise between the Community Management team and vendors to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of on-site maintenance work to minimize disruption for building occupants.

  • Support the Facilities Manager during the building opening and handover process by assisting with punch list completion.

  • Support with coordination related to resolving urgent escalations.

  • Help facilitate vendor technology changes and integration.

  • Support emergency and incident management planning with vendors.

About You

Experience and Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in facilities or operations management.

  • Experienced with managing third-party vendors.

  • Basic knowledge of commercial MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.

  • Experience using facilities management software such as Corrigo or Salesforce is a plus.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work with multiple timezones (U.S.)

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay:$63,750 to $85,000 annually

Compensation may be commensurate with location.

Incentive Compensation:WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits:Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including: 20 days of PTO, approximately 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; and life and AD&D insurance.
