We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support the coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of internal material transport and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling goods, materials, assemblies, and tools across multiple departments, ensuring accurate and timely processing, delivery, and storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute internal transport of goods, materials, parts, tools, and Kanban items using industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts).

  • Perform safe and efficient material handling across storage areas and production locations.

  • Check shipping paperwork and prepare building labels as needed.

  • Process goods receipts in SAP for all inbound shipments.

  • Communicate and coordinate any shipping/receiving issues with relevant personnel in each building.

  • Support Put Away and Pull Parts functions as needed.

  • Accurately record stock transactions using SAP via PC or barcode scanners.

  • Track and document all material movements-receiving, issuing, and adjustments-in SAP.

  • Count and verify all incoming and outgoing parts to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Unpack deliveries and stock shelves in appropriate storage areas.

  • Fill and transport carts to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling preferred.

  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) required.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry items for extended periods.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to use barcode scanners.

  • May require use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment.
