*Description*
Role Summary We need a team member with a shipping/logistics background to support our JWO RFID program. The role involves coordinating end-to-end shipments (domestic and international), ensuring timely delivery, and managing documentation and compliance.Key Responsibilities *Book domestic and international shipments through internal teams or external carriers during urgent needs. *Manage customs clearance by preparing accurate documentation and coordinating with brokers. *Oversee physical shipment and receipt of lanes from buildings, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery. *Partner with stakeholders (primarily our POC contact in engineering) to align on deadlines, lane requirements, and shipment schedules. *Verify and maintain shipping paperwork to avoid last-minute delays or compliance issues. *Coordinate with building management teams to ensure all entry/acceptance requirements are met. Day-to-Day Workflow *Engage with multiple vendors (carriers, drivers) daily to schedule and confirm shipments. *Raise shipment tickets, obtain quotes, negotiate costs, and raise POs as required. *Be present onsite at pick-up/delivery locations as needed. (Key requirement) *Track shipments weekly until final delivery confirmation. *Collaborate with internal shipment teams, carriers, warehouse staff, and building management for seamless execution. Time Commitment This role requires flexibility. Shipments on some days will involve early morning (e.g., 6:00 AM) or late-night (e.g., 11:00 PM) involvement depending on urgent needs or last-minute issues (e.g., PGA store shipment). *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Purpose/Goal: *We make and deliver hardware to our customers, internal and external *This resource will be supporting temporary operational needs for managing shipping JWO-RFID units in and out of the warehouse and to production store locations until we have more formal processes in place. Will interact with 4-6 people daily Day to Day Rhythm: Coordinate the delivery process for hardware against a forecasted schedule Manage the upcoming demand for deliveries to customer sites in Europe across multiple countries Organize orders and shipments in SIM to get the hardware units out on time Hours: Mon-Fri, might be 12 pm -8 pm This role requires flexibility. Top Skills Needed: -Previous Project Management experience within logistics and supply chain -Previous experience with troubleshooting ticketing systems (SIM strongly preferred) -+3 years of experience in material and inventory management -experience with Gupta is a nice-to-have (Similar troubleshooting systems ok) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
