Industrial Engineering Manager - Profiling & Slotting Job Summary The Distribution Network engineering manager leads the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of slotting strategies across the entire distribution network. This role ensures products are optimally slotted and profiled at each facility based on product velocity, customer demand, space utilization, and network-wide operational efficiency. - Create a project plan to transition our distribution centers from manual profiling methods to our automated PSM system.
- Analyze item velocity, dimensions, order patterns, and replenishment trends across multiple DCs to recommend optimized slotting solutions.
- Coordinate with local engineering teams and DC leadership to implement consistent slotting standards while allowing for site-specific flexibility.
- Drive optimization projects to reduce pick-path travel time, increase productivity, and enhance inventory accessibility throughout the network.
- Leverage WMS, LMS, and slotting optimization tools to design and deploy scalable, data-driven slotting models.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on new product introductions, network expansions, seasonal readiness, new customer builds and post-merger slotting integrations.
