Position: Desktop Support Technician TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician with strong customer service abilities and hands-on technical experience for one of our clients based out of Sandy Hook, KY. This role involves providing onsite IT support to end-users. Responsibilities * Deliver desktop support services including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software in a Windows-based environment * Assist with peripheral systems such as security cameras, servers, and network switches * Maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols for service requests and incident resolution * Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with end users Requirements * Valid driver's license * Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions Technical Skills * Proficiency in Windows operating systems (7, 10, 11) * Experience with user account management and directory services * Familiarity with hardware imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting * Knowledge of network connectivity, printer support, and mobile device setup * Exposure to low-voltage systems, access control, and CCTV is a plus Additional Qualifications * Strong customer service orientation * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Willingness to learn and ask for support when needed * Passion for technology and helping others Benefits Full benefits package is included. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
