Associate Credit Analyst - Banker Development Program
January or June 2026 Start Date We are currently hiring for our next Banker Development Program classes. Candidates graduating in or before December 2025 are eligible for the January 2026 class, while those graduating in or before May 2026 are eligible for the June 2026 class. We will consider candidates for one market (Salt Lake City, St. George, or Boise). Candidates local to the market are preferred. Relocation assistance is not offered. Zions Bank's Internship and Banker Development Program positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility. Banker Development Program Description: The Banker Development Program (BDP) is an Entry Level Position for recent college graduates and early professionals looking to grow their career in the finance industry. The Banker Development Program at Zions Bank is a 12-18-month training program designed to develop the future leaders of the banking industry into well-rounded professionals with strong analytical and relationship management skills. The program provides challenging training and career guidance that prepare participants for various leadership opportunities at Zions Bank. There are two phases of the Banker Development Program: 1) Training Phase, and 2) Rotational Phase. Training Phase: The training phase uses a classroom-based approach to facilitate learning. Participants receive professional development and extensive credit training on topics such as financial accounting and analysis, cash flow analysis, credit analysis, and risk management. Rotational Phase: The primary objective of the rotational phase is to gain on-the-job training through a structured rotation system. Banker Development Program Analysts are assigned to specific lending groups for a series of 3-5 rotations that last approximately 10 weeks each as well 2 rotations through our Loan Operations and Loan Servicing teams. During these rotations, the credit analysts gain in-depth exposure and perform all analytical work required for their assigned business line. Participants who successfully complete the Banker Development Program can anticipate an exciting career path. Upon completion of the training and rotational phases, participants will be considered for promotion into officer roles within the bank's lending or credit business lines.
