Medical Assistant Washington DC Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: The Medical Assistant's experience includes but is not limited to the following: 2+years of recent experience as a medical assistant in a private practice medical setting Otolaryngology experience a plus Experience assisting with exams and procedures Working with instruments and scopes Injections experience Administering EKG's Ability to work in a high volume practice site Rooming patients and taking vitals Experience documenting and updating patient information in EMR DUTIES: The duties of the medical assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vitals and histories Administer injections and vaccinations Triage patient phone calls Assist with exams and procedures Clean and sterilize instruments Administer EKG's and other point of care testing Document and update patient information in EMR Provide support as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
