The Operations Supervisor for Bulk Case Pick oversees the daily operations of the bulk case picking department within the distribution center. This role ensures that all case picking activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with safety and quality standards. The supervisor will lead a team of warehouse associates, manage performance metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Supervise, coach, and mentor bulk case pick associates.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback based on KPIs such as Case Quantity Picked Per Hour (CPH), Lines Per Hour, and LMS performance.
    • Coordinate shift schedules and staffing based on performance tiers and operational needs.
  • Operational Execution
    • Ensure timely and accurate picking of bulk cases to meet customer and internal SLAs.
    • Monitor daily throughput and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
    • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
  • Process Improvement
    • Analyze operational data and reports (e.g., Power BI dashboards) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Collaborate with slotting teams to optimize pick locations and reduce bulk loose picks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with replenishment, putaway, and shipping teams to ensure seamless workflow.
    • Communicate with leadership on staffing, performance, and operational challenges.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of subject matter experience, including exhibiting leadership capabilities.

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Critical Skills:

  • Experience managing, leading, and developing staff.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office

  • Excellent and effective business communication skills both verbal and in writing

  • Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.

  • Skilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline, and record keeping.

  • Focus on driving quality and process improvement.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and make strong business decisions.

  • Demonstrated employee engagement skills.

  • Extremely dependable

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Warehouse management systems experience preferred; experience in RF environment is a plus; experience with labor management system is a plus and PowerBi

  • Experience leading large teams.

  • Ability to effectively interpret and analyze data to drive productivity.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $55,500 - $92,500
