Inova Loudoun Hospital - Observation Unit (24 Main) is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This role will be full time, nights: Monday - Friday, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am with rotating weekends (2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, and 2 Sundays per 6-week period) & holidays (1 major & 1 minor per year). Clinical Technician 1 - Observation Unit Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Provides basic activities of daily living nursing care (e.g. bathing and feeding) and measurement of vital signs and intake/output.
- Demonstrates competency in all required clinical skills and technologies in accordance with Inova Health System policies and procedures.
- Completes assigned patient duties within the established time frame.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development in providing care for the patient population assigned.

- Training: Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
- Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
- Virtual training modules.
- Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
- On-unit shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association within 3 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training: must be able to attend a 6 week training course
- Experience: Patient care experience
- Soft Skills: critical thinking, teamwork, strive in a fast-paced environment, communication, stress management, emotional resilience.
