DESCRIPTION
In support of a Department of Homeland Security (Client) Geospatial Management Office (GMO), the Junior Geospatial Outreach & Training Manager supports management of geospatial data, provides program support to GMO staff, and provides content management and web-based capability configuration support. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a technical resource for the Homeland Security community by performing customer outreach, providing technical support, conducting demonstrations, and researching/communicating technical geospatial information as needed.
- Ability to collaborate on and deliver presentations, briefings, and geospatial products for effective training and demonstrations that meet all client requirements.
- Requires an understanding of Esri Enterprise and ArcGIS Online (AGOL) web applications, along with proficiency in following and executing workflows in Experience Builder and Survey123
- Requires strong email writing and correspondence skills that effectively convey technical and project details to diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly review and edit user and system testing documentation for consistency and correctness
REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS with 2+ years' of specialized experience
- Maintain training plans, regiments, and other training course work to standardize tradecraft and skillset competencies across the homeland security enterprise
- Support tabletop, functional, and other types of exercises to validate processes, procedures, and technologies
- Specialized experience includes the ability to apply outreach expertise to develop, design, and deliver presentations, briefings, and geospatial products for training and demonstration purposes and performs customer outreach by answering questions, troubleshooting technical problems, performing research, and communicating geospatial information to the Homeland Security community as requested
- Experience performing the above tasks on a previous Government project
