The Inventory Control Specialist Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Wafer Cage and SWCO team, ensuring efficient inventory management, safety compliance, and process optimization adhering to company's core policies. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

The Inventory Control Specialist Lead role is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the Wafer Cage and Single-Wafer Checkout Team (SWCO), ensuring operational excellence in inventory control, safety compliance, and process optimization. This role requires a proven leader with experience developing high-performing teams, driving data-informed decisions, and managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-tech R&D environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams of 10+ people.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel expertise is a must.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, implement process improvements, and identify strategic opportunities to enhance team productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cleanroom environment.

• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or GMP principles.
• Experience with Kardex automated material storage systems.
• Experience with safety protocols and PPE management.
• Software proficiency in inventory or project management tools (e.g., SAP, Smartsheet, Power BI).

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
