Position Summary:

The Commercial Analyst provides tactical and strategic support to the business. The position is responsible for analysis and reporting and enhancing commercial capability through tools, techniques, and process improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate commercial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Update and maintain commission calculations, reports, and related schedules.
  • Create, run, and distribute commercial reports and dashboards to track performance and trends.
  • Generate and analyze key performance indicator (KPI) reports to monitor business performance and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and improve processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, create efficiencies, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifies business opportunities
  • Identify, assess and implement new tools and processes to improve business analytics.
  • Resolves escalated issues from customers and internal teams as needed.
  • Keeps Management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by Controller.




Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or a related field is required.
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial analysis, business analytics, finance, or a related role preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; SAP, Business Intelligence Systems, and a CRM platform required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational & problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Fast-paced work environment & ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read computer screens and mail.
  • Ability to unpack and move supplies up to 30 pounds.
