Moog's Military Aircraft Group (MAG) is a world-wide leader of advanced flight controls and actuation for military aircraft. We are positioned on virtually every aircraft flying today, supplying highly reliable systems that are supportable and add significant value for our customers.

We're building a Business Transformation Team to simplify operations, optimize program lifecycles, and align planning across MAG. As part of this effort, we are hiring aManager - Program Lifecycle to integrate lifecycle frameworks into our operating model and coordinate the roadmap for MAG's Bid-to-Execution initiative for managing product costs in alignment with business commitments. This role is located in East Aurora, New York and reports to the Business Transformation Director, Military Aircraft Group.

As a Manager - Program Lifecycle your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the integration of lifecycle frameworks into MAG's operating model to improve transitions from development through sustainment.

  • Drive MAG's Bid-to-Execution (B2E) initiative, deploying the roadmap for managing product costs in alignment with business commitments across MAG's global manufacturing footprint

  • Establish governance and processes that ensure lifecycle-based decision-making across product and program portfolios.

  • Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Finance to align lifecycle milestones with business objectives.

  • Coordinate OE and GS teams to support unified planning and execution across the product lifecycle.

  • Integrate lifecycle management practices into existing tools and processes (e.g., APQP, PLM, Teamcenter).

  • Monitor and manage key lifecycle transitions, identifying opportunities to optimize cost, performance, and value delivery.

  • Drive alignment between MAG's lifecycle management and digital transformation roadmap, integrating enterprise tools and data strategies to enhance visibility, automation, and decision-making.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Proven experience in program or product lifecycle management within aerospace, defense, or a similarly complex manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of product cost management frameworks.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Finance.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on cost visibility, value creation, and continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and drive alignment.

  • Experience developing and implementing governance structures and decision-making processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment.

  • Willingness to relocate to East Aurora and work on-site

It would be great if you also had:

  • Familiarity with lifecycle frameworks and tools such as APQP, PLM, and Teamcenter.

  • Aerospace and defense industry experience

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $125,000.00-$175,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
