About the Job.

The Investor Relations Director will be a key member of JPI's Capital Markets team, responsible for managing and enhancing communication with both JPI's existing and prospective investors. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills and a deep understanding of the real estate development industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can effectively represent the company's vision, strategy, and performance to a sophisticated and growing investor base of both institutions and private capital investors (HNW, RIAs, Family Offices, etc.).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Investor Communication & Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for JPI's institutional and private capital investors.

  • Respond to investor inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise information on fund performance, project updates, and market trends.

  • Manage the Company's investor portal in coordination with the Data Analyst.

  • Coordinate and conduct investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Lead the creation and Management of quarterly and annual investor reports, including financial statements, performance metrics, capital calls and narrative commentary.

  • Manage investor onboarding (subscription documents, accreditation/qualification) in coordination with the Data Analyst.

  • Coordinate the timely distribution of tax (K-1) and other relevant documents.

Data Library Management

  • Create and maintain an organized library of quarterly reports, newsletters and any other communication with investors.

  • Act as the official source of information for Investors.

Fundraising & Business Development Support

  • Support the fundraising process by preparing presentations, conducting market research, and assisting with due diligence requests.

  • Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and roadshows to represent the company and build relationships.

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Draft and edit investor-facing communications, including market updates, newsletters, and press releases.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to ensure a consistent and compelling company narrative.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform investor relations strategy.

  • Manage the Investor Relations portion of JPI's company website.

Non-Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset is a must - desire to continue building a growing company.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required.

  • Four to Seven (4-7) years of related work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience / track record in an Investor Relations role, ideally within a real estate and/or investment management organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Knowledge of real estate investment analysis and understanding of real estate finance, capital structures, and the development lifecycle.

  • Strong, proactive problem-solving abilities; demonstrated time management and organization skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Acrobat Reader, and investor relations software applications (e.g. Juniper Square).

  • Proficiency in CRM software.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

  • Passion for real estate and people.

  • Strong understanding of multiple types of communication channels.
