MUST:


Experienced Web Content Manager

Eligible for DHS Public Trust (T5)

4+ years of professional experience handling web content

Expertise in web communications, content governance, and accessibility compliance

Ability to write content and edit web pages using plain language

Hands on experience developing and managing content on SharePoint

Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client

Understanding of compliance with Section 508 accessibility

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Outstanding customer service skills

High attention to details

Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical

Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, media, or related field

DUTIES:

The ideal candidates will provide support to Government client by overseeing web content communications

Identifying areas of modernization and/or process improvement related to web design and migration

Working with communication strategy team, stakeholders and management groups to identifying areas of modernization and/or process improvement related to web design and migration

Serve as back up support for emerging leadership web publications

Helping create redirects for new web pages


Monitoring, reviewing and responding to web communications services requests

Setting up, changing or removing web content manager permissions

Testing, monitoring, and optimizing content to maximize engagement and demand

Identifying and resolving accessibility issues

Supporting efforts to conduct web site audits to developed and existing maps

Identifying existing pages that are obsolete and archive/unpublish them
