Financial Analyst

Abacus Technology is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide support for cost analysis, budget analysis, and government regulations pertaining to finance. This is a full-time position.

Provide cost, budget, and financial analyses for programs and/or projects of the firm.
• Plan and track expenditure of the firms' projects and compile financial reports through various reporting tools.
• Prepare all financial reporting and analysis as defined by contract deliverables.
• Provide support in the annual planning process as well as the subsequent monthly financial forecasting and report.
• Compile, analyze, interpret, and report financial data, communicate and present financial results (Actual performance vs Plan and Forecast).
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Accounting, Contracts personnel, senior technical personnel and other internal functions or support departments.
• Provide backup support to the Pricing Manager, as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

3+ years experience in project support and financial analysis. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Must have a financial background and experience supporting Federal government contracts including CPAF, T&M, and Fixed Price. Experience with JAMIS Prime a plus. Experience with DOL regulations related to Service Contract Act (SCA) and Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) a plus. Must have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Must be able to work independently and as a key member of a team. Able to handle multiple tasks/projects. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with particular strength in MS Excel a must. Must be willing to travel when required. Must be a US citizen.
