Private Client Assistant Manager

Description

This position will lead a team of service professionals in support of the Private Banking group for all deposit and loan related responsibilities, while providing a high touch level of service to the growing affluent clientele.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Supervisory such as recruiting, onboarding, coaching, training, scheduling, counseling, approving transactions, directing job duties, reviewing time cards, preparing and conducting performance evaluations, conducting employee work audits, employee engagement and motivation, and conducting 1X1's and team meetings.
  • Process management such as monitoring the daily inbox workflow, spot-checking client correspondence, document reviews, monitor document tracking items, aiding in teller work, and spot-checking the past due loan system.
  • Workflow management such as approving wires, approving online banking forms, approving overdrafts, handling escalated complex or sensitive client concerns and issues, and work the backflow of requests as needed.



Position Requirements:



  • Ability to be accountable and work independently in managing a team tasked with excellent service and issue resolution.
  • A minimum of three years of leadership experience in the financial or banking services industry with leading, managing, motivating, and developing a team experience.
  • Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives.
  • Supervisory abilities such as leadership skills, sound decision making, the ability to motivate others, and the ability to address conflict in a positive productive manner.
  • Excellent client service skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, relationship building skills, and manage a large amount of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead by example to create a positive, engaging, and coaching environment to maximize employee productivity and engagement.
  • Direct experience with banking activities such as but not limited to credit card applications, deposit related activities, online banking, wires and transfers, lending, account maintenance, policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills:



  • Bachelor Degree
  • Bilingual a plus
