POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

The GFEBS Senior Work Control Lead is responsible for leading and managing the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) work control program at National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) - Charlottesville, VA. This position requires expertise in establishing and managing a GFEBS PM program on a military installation, as well as daily oversight of Demand Maintenance Orders (DMOs) from customers. The Senior Work Control Lead will ensure timely processing, customer responsiveness, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with Department of the Army standards. This role requires a strong background in GFEBS functional roles, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer service to effectively support mission-critical facility operations. Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.


Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):



  • Establish, manage, and oversee the GFEBS PM program at NGIC to ensure mission readiness and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for receiving, responding to, and tracking DMOs from customers daily.
  • Supervise and coordinate with staff supporting work control and GFEBS operations.
  • Maintain accountability of work orders, materials, and system updates within GFEBS.
  • Provide customer service and conflict resolution to ensure timely and effective responses to facility needs.
  • Generate reports, metrics, and analysis from GFEBS to support leadership decisions and audits.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of GFEBS records for work orders, materials, and real property.
  • Conduct training, mentoring, and technical support for GFEBS users as required.
  • Collaborate with government representatives, contractors, and internal stakeholders to address operational issues.
  • Be available between 0700 - 1600 hours, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed.



Annual salary of $78,000.00

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications:



The GFEBS Senior Work Control Lead shall have the following functional roles in GFEBS, at a minimum:



  • Real Property Viewer
  • A76 Master Data Maintainer
  • A76 Material Requirement Planning Maintainer
  • A76 Plant Maintenance Order Approver
  • A76 Plant Maintenance Order Maintainer
  • A76 Plant Maintenance Reporter
  • Goods Receipt Processor
  • Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience setting up and managing a GFEBS PM program on a military installation.
  • Hands-on experience with processing and responding to DMOs in GFEBS.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict management, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Army facility management processes and GFEBS modules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief leadership.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, work control, or GFEBS-related operations (supervisory experience preferred).
