Production Data Allocation Analyst

Role : Production Data Allocation Analyst

Location : Houston, TX (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)

Duration : 12+ month contract

The Allocation Data Analyst supports hydrocarbon allocation and production reporting by validating data across the company's offshore operated and non-operated assets. This role is critical to ensure that data used for production accounting, revenue accounting, finance, commercial, partners, and commercial reporting is accurate. The Allocation Data Analyst will work as part of the Production Measurement and Allocation (PMA) team, utilizing a combination of allocation software, applications, databases, and dashboards to support critical decisions and ensure compliance with governance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly allocation review using production/metering data and dashboard from offshore facilities.
• Validate and reconcile data from reports, SCADA and PI/ Canary historians.
• Support the allocation methodology including the calculation logic for the offshore facilities.
• Develop a detailed metering and allocation workflow to improve the allocation visibility.
• Collaborate with production engineers, offshore personnel, production and revenue accounting team, finance team, land/legal team, commercial team to align on measurement and allocation data.
• Support the sampling database activities by validating the data provided by the laboratory analysis.
• Support internal and external audits for the offshore operated and non-operated assets.

• Identify meter and data input discrepancies in coordination with the operation team and the measurement technical coordinator.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in measurement and allocation and reporting systems.
  

  Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related
• Experience with measurement and allocation, production databases, allocation tools (ProCount)
• Skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python
• Experience with SCADA, PI historian, Canary
  * Experience working with offshore oil and gas operations
