Job Title: Benefits Specialist

Duration: Permanent position.

Location: Ft. Lauderdale Florida

Shifts Available (Monday - Friday)

Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000

Job overview:

We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our team and support the administration of employee benefit programs. This role is key in providing exceptional service to employees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and administering benefits plans such as health insurance, 401(k), and wellness programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing guidance and support.
• Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA).
• Oversee the 401(k) plan, including enrollments, contributions, and audits.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives and events to promote employee well-being.
• Manage benefit data, conduct audits, and support open enrollment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, wellness, or employee support.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits and regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
