Business System Analyst

Dexian, LLC seeks Business Systems Analysts (3) in McLean, VA to:

Review and analyze client's business requirements and design, develop, and implement IT software solutions to meet those requirements. Work on Agile projects and provide business analysis and system design to develop new applications. Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand technical aspects and prioritize business deliverables. Develop technical specifications to support system changes. Conduct technical planning and modification of specifications. Responsible for software applications for a suite or suites of sales and invoicing Web applications. Utilize Information Management System (IMS) and check Mainframe transactions that drive the Web applications. Create and manage enhancement requests and defects in the ServiceNow ticketing system. Conduct application testing, Script and execute test cases. Create and maintain technical documentation related to application development.
A Bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a software development occupation. The required experience in a software development occupation must include the following:

• 5 years of experience with design and development of IT software solutions
• 5 years of experience working in Agile and DevOps projects, providing business analysis and system design to facilitate development of new applications
• 5 years of experience working with product stakeholders for business deliverables and with development of technical specifications to support system changes
• 5 years of experience in technical planning and conducting system modifications
• 5 years of experience using ServiceNow and creating and managing enhancement requests defects
• 5 years of experience utilizing IMS and checking Mainframe transactions that drive the Web applications
• 5 years of experience with application ownership responsibilities for a suite of sales and invoicing web applications
• 5 years of experience leading technical teams to conduct software application testing, deployment and process automation activities.
