Quality Analyst

About the role:

This is a great opportunity to work on the Global Quality Distribution Product Controls team which is part of Boston Scientific's Quality Systems group. This role is global in nature and will have high visibility within the company.Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues and improving processes and systems used to manage distribution controls within our ERP system (SAP) to ensure all products have the right certifications before shipping.

This is a full-time position (with full benefits) based out of Marlborough, MA. The role will be hybrid, allowing flexibility to work from home 2 days a week with the expectation that you will be onsite in the Marlborough office 3 days a week.

Your Responsibilities Include:



  • Distribution Product Controls SME, supporting Quality, Operations and Regulatory teams.
  • Ensuring documents are in compliance with Quality and Regulatory requirements.
  • Completing data entry to SAP to manage distribution controls information.
  • Investigating and resolving inconsistencies in data using standard problem-solving tools.
  • Requesting further information for documents that are deemed incomplete.
  • Investigating and correcting issues by combining data from several sources for analysis.
  • Keeping records of tasks and files. Checking completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product.
  • Leading investigation of any nonconformances.
  • Supporting implementation of SAP system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Supporting project teams to ensure the appropriate setup of Product Distribution Controls.
  • Communicating technical information to others in ways that can be understood by laypersons.
  • Supporting peers by investigating concerns, addressing questions, and providing guidance.
  • May design/rework processes to enhance workflow.
  • May assist professional and technical staff with special projects.
  • Coordinate, organize, and/or lead administrative tasks in support of functional area.

What we're looking for in you:

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience with SAP or similar ERP system.(JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.)
  • 1-2 Years experience in a regulated industry (Medical Device or Pharmaceutical preferred)
  • Experience using standard problem-solving tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience in a Supply Chain or Distribution Center role.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
