Technical Program Manager/Business Analyst Hybrid \| Honolulu, Hawaii \| Contract \| Monday to Friday Description An experienced Business Analyst/Program Manager is needed to lead requirements gathering and process documentation for a critical analytics and software initiative. This role focuses on defining requirements for Independent Power Producers (IPPs), supporting a Databricks-centric solution for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) calculations, and contributing to system enhancements for Invoice Management. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data and analytics projects, with hands-on familiarity in Azure and Databricks environments. Key Responsibilities * Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and document requirements for analytics and software solutions. * Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for developers and data engineers. * Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with Azure and Databricks architecture. * Create and manage backlog items, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing requirements. * Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders. * Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery. * Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. * Support change management and training efforts related to new analytics solutions. Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development or data/analytics projects; application development experience preferred. * Hands-on knowledge of data platforms, especially Azure and/or Databricks. * Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, BI/reporting tools, and analytics workflows. * Demonstrated ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or ServiceNow. * Experience with stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration Skills Business analysis, Requirements gathering, Business requirements Additional Skills & Qualifications Databricks/ Azure preferred Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
