About the Role Are you passionate about helping others and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We're looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our front-line team, where you'll be the voice of compassion and efficiency for patients, providers, and partners. In this role, you'll handle high-volume calls, manage appointment scheduling, and support patients with their healthcare needs - all while delivering exceptional service and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor. What You'll Do * Answer 60-80 incoming calls daily from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and medical facilities * Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening, assisting, and resolving inquiries * Reschedule appointments via phone, SMS, or patient portal messages * Route calls to appropriate departments and ensure accurate registration and scheduling in EMR * Take clear, detailed messages using internal communication templates * Edit, cancel, and reschedule appointments per clinic protocols * Maintain effective communication across departments to support patient care * Demonstrate knowledge of SY Health programs and services * Meet department productivity and quality assurance standards * Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring * 3+ years of customer service experience (healthcare or call center preferred) * Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills * English fluency in both spoken and written communication * Spanish bilingual skills highly preferred * Ability to type 35 WPM with 90% accuracy * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment Why Join Us? * Be part of a mission-driven healthcare team * Work in a collaborative and supportive environment * Gain valuable experience in patient-facing operations * Opportunity to grow within a respected healthcare organization Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
