The organization is expanding its technical infrastructure to support a new site build and is seeking skilled IT professionals to ensure smooth deployment and support. *Job Description:* The Support Technician will play a key role in providing technical assistance during the setup and ongoing support of a new facility. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, desktop support, and basic networking tasks. *Responsibilities:* * Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues. * Perform basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity issues, IP configuration). * Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or network administrators. * Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system. * Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees (account setup, device configuration). * Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies. * Support remote users with VPN and connectivity issues. * Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to knowledge base articles. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred. * 1+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role. * Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). * Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. * Customer service mindset with a proactive attitude. *Top Skills:* * Desktop Support * Windows 10 * Troubleshooting * Customer Service * Hardware & Technical Support * Help Desk Support *Nice-to-Have Skills:* * Cisco experience * VPN support * macOS familiarity *Benefits (Eligibility may vary):* * Medical, dental & vision insurance * Critical illness, accident, and hospital coverage * 401(k) retirement plan (pre-tax and Roth) * Voluntary life & AD&D insurance * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Paid time off (PTO, vacation, sick leave) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
