Windows Systems Administrator Location: Vicksburg, MS Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift between 6AM-6PM Clearance: Must have secret clearance Industry: Government IT Services **Secret clearance & CompTIA Security+ Required* Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Are you ready to take your systems administration expertise to the next level? What You'll Do As a Windows Systems Administrator, you'll be the go-to expert for server operations, infrastructure support, and technical leadership. You'll manage mission-critical systems, guide a team of professionals, and ensure seamless IT service delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your Day-to-Day Will Include: * Administering and optimizing Windows Server environments (physical & virtual) * Leading change management efforts and writing Change Requests * Managing file permissions and supporting secure data storage * Transitioning enterprise solutions into production * Acting as the primary point of contact for server, network, and telecom issues * Coordinating vulnerability remediation and Level 3 support * Escalating VIP and after-hours support requests * Overseeing team schedules, performance, and service delivery metrics * Collaborating with IT leadership to meet user needs and drive results What You Bring to the Table * Technical Mastery in: * Windows Server 2012/2016 * VMware * Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS * NTFS permissions, Kerberos, LDAP * Basic networking (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, OpenVPN) * Leadership Experience managing teams and service delivery * Problem-Solving Mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills * Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems * Education: BA/BS (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree) Why You'll Love This Role Mission-Driven Work - Support critical infrastructure for national operations Leadership Opportunity - Guide teams and shape service delivery Growth Potential - Work with cutting-edge technologies and expand your skillset Collaborative Culture - Partner with IT leaders and technical experts Stability & Purpose - Be part of a long-term government initiative with real impact Ready to lead with purpose and power up your career?
