We are looking for an Architect, Adobe Experience Cloud, to serve as the subject matter expert across Trex's Adobe stack, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM with Edge Delivery) and Commerce. This role will provide technical authority, architecture leadership, best practice enforcement, and ensure the stability, performance, and security of our solutions.

Architecture & Design Leadership




  • Define and own the solution architecture for Adobe Experience Cloud at Trex.



  • Vet and approve solution designs proposed by development teams to enforce architectural best practices.



  • Lead the adoption of AEM Edge Delivery Services and other next-gen Adobe capabilities.



  • Serve as the subject matter expert for best practices for integrating Adobe solutions with other enterprise CRM, ERP, and middleware solutions.




Cross-Functional Partnerships



  • Partner with DevOps engineers to optimize CI/CD pipelines, dispatcher/CDN caching, deployment strategies, and application performance monitoring.
  • Review proposals for automated review tools to catch code-level vulnerabilities and enforce standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and IT leadership to shape the Digital Consumer Experience roadmap.
  • Serve as the escalation point for Adobe-related incidents and technical challenges.


Governance & Quality




  • Own Trex's Adobe Experience Cloud architectural governance, including guardrails, ADRs, and technical documentation.



  • Help define and enforce Trex's enterprise security, compliance, and scalability standards

    EXPERIENCE

    We are seeking technical leaders with 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Cloud, to influence our enterprise digital transformation at scale. Candidates must also hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    The ideal candidate will have:



    • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in Adobe Experience Cloud development and/or solution architecture
    • Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM):

      • Sites, Assets, Workflows, OSGi, Sling Models, HTL, Dispatcher/CDN optimization.
      • Multilingual site and multisite management.
      • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services.


    • Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) solution design and integration, both headless architecture and traditional front-end.
    • Familiarity with Scene7/Dynamic Media for digital asset delivery.
    • Strong understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL).
    • Proven ability to mentor developers and enforce standards through governance.

    SALARY

    Base Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000 annually.

    The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

    At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
