V3 Sports is a nonprofit located in vibrant North Minneapolis, focused on elevating our community through wellness, fitness, and education! Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.

Founded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, physical rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings. Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs, community events, and other drivers of economic stability. At the V3 Center, Northside young people and families will access programming that supports their career and economic aspirations and builds the skills they need to make their dreams reality.

Wages and Benefits

$16 per hour; Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST). V3 Sports sponsors a retirement plan with a 4% employer match and immediate vesting.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day in the life of a fitness attendant at V3 Sports provides an opportunity to keep fitness areas clean and organized, monitor activity to ensure policies are followed, and engage members with a friendly, helpful presence while supporting a culture of wellness. Responsibilities will include the following:



  • Actively monitor the Fitness Floor, Fitness Suite, and Multi-Purpose Room 1 (MP1).
  • Greet members and guests with a welcoming attitude and provide assistance as requested.
  • Clean and sanitize exercise equipment thoroughly throughout the day.
  • Enforce all V3 policies and escalate concerns to supporting staff when needed.
  • Use sound judgment to troubleshoot operational issues in the absence of the Manager on Duty.
  • Track and record attendance on the Fitness Floor.
  • Clean and maintain storage areas in the Fitness Suite and MP1.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report any broken or damaged items.
  • Possess a basic understanding of exercise equipment and help members or guests with equipment questions.
  • Administer or assist with CPR and First Aid when necessary.
  • Document incidents and accidents accurately and promptly.
  • Give tours when Member Services staff is unavailable.


Who You Are



  • You're trained in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens. If you don't already have these certifications, V3 will provide training upon hire.
  • You can work a minimum of 6 hours per week.
  • You are an active listener who can follow both oral and written instructions from supervisors.
  • You are physically able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs (team lift when needed).
