Summary:

The Director of Clinical Operations (RN) provides strategic and operational leadership for assigned clinical programs and services. This role oversees non-physician clinical staff across outpatient pediatric care locations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, safe, efficient, and compliant patient care. This role defines and directs system wide standards for clinical practice, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff orientation, continuing education, and competency management. The position leads clinical operations across multiple locations, monitors performance outcomes, manages float and contingent staff and evaluates external vendor service to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high quality support. Working collaboratively with physician leaders, administrators, and operational directors, this role ensures clinical excellence, efficient processes, and a consistent patient and provider experience across the locations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university is required.

  • 5 years of clinical experience in physician practice/ambulatory setting required.

  • 5 years in healthcare operations management and leadership required.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency and ability to use Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and Power Point and Outlook).

  • Demonstrated proficiency and ability to use clinical practice software.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TX required.

  • Current CPR certification required.
