The Manager Revenue Cycle is responsible for the analysis and assessment of diverse data relating to the Revenue Cycle. This includes interpreting government regulations and effecting process changes throughout the system to ensure compliance with these regulations as well as contractual obligations with all third party payors. This position is accountable for the oversight of operations of the department which would include payment variances and credit balances.


Directs, organizes and plans day-to-day operations of the Revenue Cycle department to ensure maximum reimbursement, productivity and efficiency.
Supervises Revenue Cycle daily workflow to ensure accuracy of work.
Performs continuous quality monitoring of compliance with all regulatory requirements which may include compliance reports, denial reports, underpayment reports, credit balances (ensuring all self-pay refunds are completed within acceptable timeframes), vendor reconciliations and data requests.
Schedules regular meetings with major payer groups to ensure we have appropriate communication to resolve backlogs of outstanding issues and account resolution.
Ensures that difficult accounts and/or customer situations are resolved by analytically applying health system policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelors Degree (will accept certification in lieu of degree)
Cert Required in lieu of degree: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) with 10 years experience

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 5 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience
